He had 7 seconds. As soon as no is open on play 1 a few seconds in, you throw a bullet into the ground past the endzone. There was no need to force that play. Then, I'm trying to remember the last time I saw Schaub pump fake, because you could pump faked that defender to go for the pass to either have time to run/dive or have more of an opening for your receiver.
Not to mention the missed FG that would have avoided that crap. And the blown catch by Vickers. I'm so heated right now.
I know hindsight is 20/20 but isn't Arian Money in the red zone? maybe we should have run something to him toward the pylon. Or a play action to open up something in the back?
Not blaming Rackers...but the missed field goal would have been the difference. Make that field goal and you have a chip shot field goal for the win at the end. This Texans team has had me on the edge of my seat every game so far this year.I don't feel bad about our chances against the Ravens next week but this team needs to find consistency.
Wait, how the hell is Matt Schaub getting majority of the blame for this game? He was getting hit all game, receivers (mainly Lawrence ****ing Vickers) were dropping balls, and the Raiders batted six balls down.
No way Schaub would have made to the end zone he had to throw it. For that I can't be mad. The high snap doomed us.
We've got to give Kubiak a break...he does have us playing very competitively and its only been years...he did take over a 2-14 team. Rome wasnt built in a day.
Schaub was scared --- plain and simple, he could've tucked the ball, cut and run back up, even if he was short, it was better than throwing a pick in the end zone. Schaub looked scared and didn't want to get hit.
Al Davis lives!!!... We played against the NFL today, not just the Raider Nation.... Schaub is good until he's not
