Because rudy is an absolute dumbass when it comes to guiding an offense or setting up plays that can get his team high percentage shots to the guys that are hot. Every damn possession he runs the same bullsh!t high screen from the pf to free up the guard (he's been doing this since frickin Day 1 when we had K Smith and Otis Thorpe running it) and then lets the guard (either Francis, Mobley, or Mooch) simply iso and go one-on-one, praying that something good comes out of it. Rudy's other play is iso on the left block (this was the Dream, Barkley, Drexler play) but we don't use it too much these days because Ming only plays 10min and only gets 2 touches a game. Notice how in the first half of tonite's game Phoenix got 7-8 good backdoor cutting plays which they converted about 5 layups off of. In the second half, the Suns got several good pick n roll variations on both sides. I'm sick of hearing all the excuses of injuries/practice time/youth. Even Frank Fricking Johnson who is rumored to lose his coaching job every month manages to coach circles around a dumbwitted rudy. I won't even discuss the undisciplined stupid lazy boneheaded defense this team plays. The offense enough should be reason for rudy to just leave this team now.
