Their "Book of Mormon" won best musical and a bunch of other categories tonight at the Tony Awards, they're definitely banking like crazy now. South Park is the last thing on their minds nowadays.

The new season starts on Wednesday. Curious to see how things have ended up after the divorce. There's also going to be a documentary next Sunday, Oct. 9th, about the making of an episode.

One thing I noticed in the trailer is that Bill Hader was there. Looked him up, turns out he's been a writer/consultant/producer for the show for years.

I don't get it... weren't there just 3 new episodes recently? Then the show disappeared. I don't get it.

Not to be a dick but it literally takes 2 seconds to load up wikipedia and pull up the episode list.

    Wow, WTF was that? Seriously.

I've never felt so lost after an episode.

i thought the first 15 minutes was not funny, but the 2nd half was great. the chart showing how cartman burger synthesized all the other restaurants flavors was hilarious. and of course it was going to end the way it did!

You can tell they still have some ideas that could be funny if fleshed out. But instead they use waste time with **** you's and vomit and feces. And I can't help but get this feeling that they're being smug and lofty with whatever "message" they're pushing all while being so base and effort-less.

I think their message is pretty obvious: they're done with the show. The way Stan sees everything is the way they've come to see the show.

100% agreed. It's pretty frustrating to watch.

    I haven't missed an episode.

I know how crappy they were, and that crazy ending to last season.

Just so strange, with Stan's drinking.

I'm thinkin' that maybe the problem is that they make the episodes so damned quickly. That may have worked for them in the past and it might be appropriate if they're doing a current events episode, but the show might improve if they took a little time and didn't feel obligated to pursue the first decent idea they come up with because they feel a time crunch.
