Ten of the next 15 on the road. Twelve I would image the good guys will be underdogs. Eight wins sound pretty good at this moment. What should we expect? 15 Fri @ Phoenix 17 Sun @ L.A. Lakers 19 Tue Cleveland 21 Thu @ Dallas 22 Fri Washington 24 Sun @ L.A. Clippers 26 Tue @ Portland 27 Wed @ Golden State 29 Fri @ Seattle Dec 1 Sun @ Sacramento 3 Tue San Antonio 6 Fri @ New Orleans 7 Sat Philadelphia 10 Tue Sacramento 13 Fri @ Memphis
I am the ultimate homer so I think we can win all of them but I have to put my realist cap on, I think we will lose at least one to Sactown and one to either Dallas or SA but not both. And we may lose to Seattle again if they keep playing like they have been playing. The rest we should win. 10-12 wins!!!!
Anything can happen. Shaq will be out on Sunday....and the Rocks can beat any team in the league if they play well together. 8 wins would be ok...but I want 9. DaDakota
I think this really proves how strong the league is. Anything can happen. I remember Barkley mentioning about the Rockets a few years ago before he came down with the injury that he doesn't want the Rockets to be the next "Clippers." The Rockets are almost ahead of their time and they are almost ready to take on any team in the league, if they play well as a TEAM like ya'll said.
On the bright side there is only one back to back, and thats against Golden State... .500 is realistic and probably should be considerd a victory for the Rockets...But we can sure hope we can get some production from MoT, Rice, Yao, etc and do better.....
As long as we beat Sac twice, Dallas, Lakers, Blazers, Spurs, Sonics, Mavs, and Wizards, plus sprinkle in a few additional road wins--I'll be happy. I don't mind the tough schedule now. We got a break the first few weeks while KT was injured, MO was not available, and Ming had just arrived. Our depth should be coming just in time, plus we have actually been able to win 4/6 while getting new pieces back into the action and some into their first action. IMO the schedule has unfolded just right for us.
I think realistically, we lose 7 of those games (Sac 2x, SA, Portland, Dallas, Seattle, NO), minimum 4 (possibly beat SA, Portland and NO. If we take care of business (8-7) or win a couple that we shouldnt (11-4), Id be happy.
I think he meant at the time that.. the Clippers were a poor team and the young star players would leave for money, which means the Clippers could never really stepped up to the next level.

To be quite honest with you, I think that if we go 7-8, I'd be ecstatic. We're 4-2 right now, nd that would make us 11-10 with one of the toughest part of our schedule behind us. 11-10, I believe, is playoffs or very close. Considering we'd improve on that record over the next 15 games, we'd be looking really great the rest of the season. Remember, we're one team that will improve drastically s the season goes by. Rice, MoT, and Yao Ming are improving in each game, and they're not hitting full stride yet.
