I've never been a fan of Fox's strategic moves when it comes to what shows they keep, cut, and lowball. This is an unfortunate story.
only if the voice actors don't take a substantial pay cut, to the tune of around 4 mil, which would still leave them making a little over 4 mill a year for 5 and a half months worth of work.
yay, it's been a while since simpsons haters had a thread to b**** about a crappy show they either don't watch or are stupid enough to still watch.
I don't consider myself a Simpson's hater. I think Seasons 4-10 could be considered one of the best comedies of all time. I just think it got stale after that and isn't funny anymore. To be fair, I have not seen a new episode in a couple of years
i think its better now than it has been for the last 10 years or so. it will be a sad day when the simpsons ends - if you are under 40 that show has been on for at least 1/2 of your life!
The actors should take the cut, the ancillary revenue going forward will be worth way more than a year's salary. DD
I think the Simpsons haters are mostly former devotees who feel betrayed by the crappy product they started to slop out after season 10. They fired their good writers or something. At least, that's why I hate on them. I love the old stuff and the new stuff is an insult to the franchise name. If the most recent seasons are better, I didn't notice since I stopped watching. Even if it is though, they should still drop the whole show and stop parading this corpse about. If they have good writers again, put them to work building a new franchise. You'll save on voice talent too.
