Yeah, but Kidd was great at penetrating, still put up put up decent amount of points. Actually you're right. Nash has a decent offensive advantage. Not a big gap. Miniscule was understating it. And I still think defense, rebounding of Kidd more than makes up for it
Kidd is easily a better point guard than Nash. He's a true point guard thats not known for his shooting, but look at the stats. Kidd is number three in all time 3 pointers made.
Nash is also a true point guard. The only difference is he can score easily but he is a pass first point guard.
They bring different things to the table Nash won't guard Kobe, but he will abuse the hell out of Fisher on offense and rip through whatever Miami pg there is. Plus Kidd was a bit of a liability on offense and didn't really create much, with Nash, you get an awesome shooter and a great penetrator that breaks down defenses.
JKidd can D up Kobe, Wade, and Westbrook in a playoff run at the age of near 40. Steve Nash still can't defend a chair in his prime.
Anyone notice the comically large face towards the upper right? i'm not the only one that saw it right?
Is that why Kidd was amongst the most 3PT shot mades last season?. lol. Stick to you'r Yao slurping because you know nothing else.
1. Was last season Kidd's prime? 2. He made 133 3 pointers last year...not even the highest of his career and he shot 34%. Neither of those are great. 3. I think what you are referencing is that he moved up the all time 3 pointers made list? He is #3 behind Allen and Miller but he is only one of two players (the other is Kobe) in the top 20 who averages lower than 35% shooting. To me (and probably most people) that suggests volume, not pure skill. In fact, he has taken almost 1,000 more than Peja at #4 yet is only about 30 mades ahead of him. Awesome.
