Frequent Flier Reward Credit Cards - Any suggestions?

You might not be interested since its a chase card, but I love chase, and the chase sapphire preferred card has worked out great past year and half.

Your points with them go a long way, and easy to transfer to any airlines or just use ultimate rewards to book trips. They even had a 50k or 100k sign up bonus (got them to match the 100k people got when I only got 15 when I signed up over year ago)

We almost always fly Delta and their AMEX rewards card provides a lot of good benefits. If you fly a lot, their free checked bags for you and up to 8 others on your itinerary would easily pay for the card. They also have discounted rates into the Delta Sky clubs and a yearly $99 or free companion certificate depending on the card. We have had absolutely no problems using the free certificates regardless of when or where we flew in the continental U.S.

The Delta AMEX also allows $200 in airline fees per year to be credited back to you. This includes change fees, seat upgrade fees, beverage and snack purchases and other related expenses.

Also an AMEX card can generally be tied to an airline program so you can very cheaply transfer the points over if you don't want to use them on AMEX products.

 

Fidelity has an AMEX card that pays 2% cash back on all purchases that I use. I could not find a rewards card that could beat that last time I looked.

 

I got Chase card for my Continental OnePass..
