I have never bought a wallet. The one I have currently is a Dockers leather wallet that smells great and has been with me since my grandmother gave it to me about 5 years ago, and I've only had to use it because someone stole my previous one, which my grandmother also gave me. I treasured both dearly. I've been wondering for a long time... does having a thicker wallet mess with our back's posture while sitting, or with our buttocks' muscles?
I've had mine for about 7 or 8 years. I just switched to a new one last month, and while I've mostly forgotten about my old wallet now (it's still kept in a box nicely), this thread kind makes me wish I hadn't bought a new wallet and just kept using it.....
A lot of times, especially sitting in the office at work, I have to take it out of my back pocket because it starts to get real uncomfortable.
Not in my mid 30's yet, but I can bet you my life that my wallet is more childish than yours. Chicks dig it though.
I'm over 40. I've had mine wallet almost 4 years. A black and white checkerboard Vans wallet. It's falling apart and stained as can be. My better half bought it for me at a snowboarding contest sponsored by Vans. I believe she paid $2 or $3 for it. I love it and get compliments on it regularly. God knows I'm super embarrassed by carrying it around. Shameful, really. I hope to someday own a velcro free wallet. That sure would be something.
Only a few months. It's black with little pink flowers and zips up. Before this one, I'd have the old fashioned plain black kind and keep them many years until they literally fell apart.
i've had my current one about 6 months but the one before this one i had since 1998 it was just completely fallen apart i was very sad to have to get rid of it almost like losing a friend.
Got a new one from my girl on my bday in July. Hickory brown (cranberry leather) Ferragamo money clip. Small, classy, and gets the job done. http://www.ferragamo.com/webapp/wcs...?WT.mc_id=GPROD#/product/27663/117233/433533/
