Ordered it online. If it gets here a day or two after the release date, not a big deal. I played through the first Gears again about 2 weeks ago and I'm playing through Gears 2 right now. This was the game that made me buy a 360 in the first place.

Same, a friend and I co-opped through Gears1. We're trying to finish 2 before Sunday night but we're cutting it close (on Act3).
I'm on Act 3 as well. The campaign isn't too long though. Maybe and hour to to an hour and a half per act with only 5 acts.
You know, I was excited for this game but I wasn't super, super excited. Now that I've finished Gears 2 and have watched some reviews of Gears 3, I'm pumped. This looks to be epic. Can't wait for Tuesday.

Picked up my prepaid copy this morning. Friend I normally co-op with won't be available until this evening, so I ran through the first act. Party AI is actually pretty good surprisingly enough. Glad to see Baird back in all his pissy sarcastic glory. I'm intrigued as to whether or not the kill Carmine. I hope not, dude's a glorified red shirt who's managed to survive, I'd like for him to see the end.
