LETS GET THIS ONE STARTED EARLY SO HE DOESN'T GET SCREWED LIKE EDDIE DID LAST YEAR.

THE HAWK IF HE KEEPS UP AT THIS PACE WILL BELONG IN THE ROOKIE ALL STAR GAME.

WHAT BETTER STORY THAN TO HAVE THE 29 YEAR OLD ROOKIE IN THAT GAME. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME.

IF HE KEEPS SHOWING THE DEFENSIVE TENACITY, GOOD SPOT UP SHOOTING AND ALL AROUND SOLID FLOOR GAME - HE WILL BE DESERVING OF A SPOT ON THAT ROSTER !!!!!!!!!!!!

LET'S START GETTING THE WORD OUT ON THIS ONE, NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the "HAWK" he plays really good defense. I agree lets all support him to make the Rookie team in the all-stargame.

Great job. We need to be proactive. Let's vote as soon as the poll starts.

    I supporter of "HAWK"

The game changed when Rudy brought him in. He was great, as Rudy would say; "He was phenomenal"
The guy really rubbed off on the rest of the team. CAT did take some stupid shots, but CAT brought has best defensive performance tonight. He was all over Pip and then all over Mcinnis. He once had Pip in a bear hug it seemed.

Rice had his best defensive performance in the last couple of years. He was really getting around out there.
Rice was getting position on his man and not letting them get good looks. The first half looked like #$@%
But the second half was a site to see. I think the Rockets might have learned something last night. If they play good defense the running game will be there.

Yes HAWK for all-star rookie team.

Did anybody else see Pippen go up to Hawkins at the end of the game? It looked like Pippen was giving him some props on how good his defense was and how he played the game. I purely going by facial expressions here though but Pip looked impressed.

i was going to say something about that as well. not only pippen but payton made an effort to go over and say some things to hawkins after the seattle game. of course we don't know what was said but it seemed like they were complimenting him.

Hawkin's came in and immediately sparked two fast breaks with steals. Instant offensive impact with spectacular D. I haven't seen anybody that great on defense since Payton in his prime in the swarming Seattle defenses with Karl in the early 90's, and that is a fuzzy memory of a whole team. Hawkins was everywhere.

Last night when my gf got Boki's autograph after the game she asked him why he hasn't been playing and even though she said it took him a second to comprehend, he responded with "I'll be playing soon" or something in that nature. I don't know if he just said that because Rudy told him to, or that he might actually get some GARBAGE MINUTES!!! Who knows, this is one thing I don't like about Rudy, he brings the rookies along so slowly.

He better make it, he's definitely one of the top Sophs in the game. It even listed him in the new basketball beckett as one of the top 4 sophs to collect (even though a players skill doesn't always have to do with whether or not you should collect them), along with Jason Richardson, Richard Jefferson, and Andrei Kirilenko.

I was really confused when the rockets dumped torres(I refuse to call him OT, as that is already taken in rockets history). This just proves how smart Rudy and CD are. He brings back fond memories of Elie. Great job Hawk!!
