Look at bacterial resistance to antibiotics, how bacterial proteins can completely shift their orientation on the lipid bilayer to combat antibiotic resistance and how plasmids carrying resistance proliferate. Morphological Biological Genetic evidence have proven evolution correct over the period of over a 100yrs.

not everyone on the planet earth follows the same Bible for one. as far as the Bible through History- you forgot to include the 200,000 years of human existence before the Bible was widely printed as you mentioned.
The Bible is truly an interesting book - because it shows what people really want out of religion. People really don't follow the religion out of morality, or out of even social inertia - these are causes, but not the main cause. They follow religion because people don't want to die, and religion is really the only thing in this world that can offer any chance at immortality, whether through reincarnation or heaven or that sorts of thing. This concept of immortality is also the only thing that religion possesses over philosophy, which is much more interesting and rational in examining ethics and the concept of meaning in our lives, and what is the Bible compared to the works of Schopenhauer or Nietzsche? Therefore, a religion that focuses more on the prospect of life after death will inevitably claim more followers compared to one that really doesn't, which is how Christians with their millennial doctrine gradually displaced the Norse and Greek gods, which were more focused on stories of morality than any afterlife. Same with religions like Islam, while Hinduism is the one real polytheistic religion that has survived because they have a fairly unique way of dealing with the life after death thing with reincarnation. And heck - the Bible was inspired by God, but the Quran was DICTATED by God. Doesn't that make the latter superior? Though in general, Christianity makes utterly no sense compared to Islam and Judaism from what I know - if God, who is after all omnipotent, wanted to forgive original sin, there's no need to go through some ridiculous farce with a son and all that stuff. He could snap his fingers.

I don't know why people are so bent out of shape about Perry. The guy is a great politician. Regardless of how much he's "hated" for his actual stuff, the man has the whole Bush thing down pat. Sure, everything that comes out of his mouth makes little sense if you take a minute to think. But really, has any election in the history of mankind been about making sense or being equipped to handle the job?
