Met Deron Williams at a mall in San Diego - asked about the lockout

    So about two weeks ago I was at a really obscure mall in San Diego. I was in the Apple Store looking at the new Air Books. My brother told me ... dude turn around you wont believe who is standing behind you. I turned around and thought who's that at first. I did a double take and thought oh crap its Deron Williams! He didnt look that big so I wasnt 100% sure till I saw his tattoos. He was going in there to get his 17 inch macbook serviced. He was actually out of warranty so the Apple store guy not having a clue who he was refused to help him. I was thinking to myself dude you make millions just buy a new one! But I thought it was pretty cool he was pretty frugal with his spending.

    Anyways I went up and asked if I could take pic and he said sure and was super friendly. So got a pic with him and told him how I thought he was the best pure PG in the league and how I had a debate with someone else on clutchfans on how he was better than Chris Paul. Asked him about the lockout and he just kind of shrugged but gave the hint it didnt look good. Asked him about Turkey and he said yea he still hopes there is going to be a season next year.

    Anyways I just thought it was pretty surprising since this is a pretty obscure area since its about 30-40 minutes north of Downtown San Diego. There is like nothing out there and its not an area anyone visiting San Diego on vacation would want to visit so I was a bit puzzled why he was even in the area. Turns out after some google searching he was visiting a private golf resort in the area. Also no one in the mall seemed to recognize him. He was pretty low key in a baseball cap and a nike tshirt and only with one other guy who is probably his friend or something.

    haha i did.. well I joked about it.. told him he should join the Rockets.. he just laughed... should have told him it's a huge upgrade over the Nets :)
