I somehow got this "Security Protection" virus or malware or whatever it is on my computer and can't seem to get rid of it. I googled how to get rid of it and tried using spybot and hitman pro 3.5, but neither has been successful.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of it??

    1. Reboot PC into safe mode
    2. Download and run "Rkill" to kill any known malware processes
    3. Run MalwareBytes full scan
    4. Run SuperAntiSpyware free quick scan
    5. Run HitmanPro again
    5. In case you may have a rootkit, download FixTDSS, and TDSS killer and it will scan your computer and boot sectors (If it finds anything, please repeat steps except #5.)

If after all of that, and nothing is working. Download and run ComboFix (use extreme caution, and NEVER run it twice at the same time or anything like that)

Also, once the machine is completely clean, create a backup of your PC (image it ) and delete all restore points.
