apparently there's an investigation and charges will be filed. I'd start with the big dude that took the cheap shot kick to the man on the ground. Never ceases to amaze me the things that people do in a situation like this.

I kept thinking of Cedric the Entertainer when I was watching that vid, but Cedric is an entertainer not a fighter.

Was that the top comment when you posted? What I see now is something about if the tables were turned this would be a hate crime. I agree with that one too.

I read the article as I was in Sarasota last week for a weekend vacation and was a bit surprised.

It turns out the assaulters were on the losing team, down 30-6 just before halftime when it all went down. On top of that, the opposing coach said he was puzzled because they were arguing against a flag that was thrown on HIS team.

As if this story wasn't already dumb enough.

Unfortunately, parents getting involved or mad like this is not that uncommon, after college, I reffed football for a few years, and there were a lot of beligerent parents and coaches, usually you can deflect it by talking with the coach and using humor.

But some of these people are way over the top etc.

I wish I could say I was surprised, but I think that coach should never have been allowed to coach youth sports in the first place.

Heck, here in Austin, the head coach of a youth baseball team that won state and zone is a hot head, who shakes his own kid, and yells at players, I would not let my son play for him, not in a million years.....
