Nationally yeah, but the NFL dreams about becoming the NBA internationally. I don't think the NFL will ever capture the international market the way the NBA has.

revenues alone tell the story. for whatever international attention the NBA gets, it's not even in the same vicinity of the NFL with respect to revenues.

Yeah, black guys from the city don't play high school, college or NFL football. Clearly football only appeals to white people.

It's all about individual player stardom in the NBA. That's what gets the international attention. And it's what's really wrong with the NBA (and the crooked officiating). NFL is a true team sport. Stars rise from a good system, and usually fall when they get too big for their britches and try to go somewhere else.

... overly muscled men in tight shorts grabbing on to each other ...

NFL should be a gay man's paradise.

    I'm just saying.

I don't think the NBA will ever realize the revenue that MLB has. Or Nascar. Let alone the NFL.

The NFL may wish to capture international markets the way the NBA has, but the NBA can't even think about the US market in NFL terms without wetting their panties.

Well, in the NBA (or basketball, in general) one player really can make that big of a difference, even without help from shady officials. If there were only 10 people on a football field at a time there would be much more room for personal talent to take over and defeat a great coaching strategy, as it does in the NBA.

I don't know if I have just noticed this in the last couple years but it seems like showboating has become an every play ordeal. Some dude will make a one on one tackle in the middle of the field for a 5 yard gain for the offense and then walk around like he's Hulk Hogan or something. It grinds my gears

Agreed 100% about the player impact.

But it's not right for one player to be above the team, and that culture combined with corrupted westernized morals has made the NBA superstars into spoiled brats.
