    Early impressions seem positive.

Long story short, if you buy it every year, it's probably skippable.

If you've been waiting 3-4 years, it's worth your money.

Is this worth getting over NCAA12? I really don't want two football games.

Haha, its been like that for a couple of years. I played an exhibition game with the Lions yesterday, primarily to play with Suh, and I was able to knock the lineman on his ass almost every time using the bull rush

I bought it yesterday...I thought Madden 11 was a step back from 10. I didnt enjoy that game much. Madden 12 is a step back in the right direction. Graphics, animations, gameplay are all improved.

The Texans are finally fun to play with. I used to play with them online only because that was my team, but I always felt severely handicapped. Now, I feel like Im cheating.

In all seriousness though, I'd recommend it. I love football games...if youre a fan of the NFL then just pick it up. 60 bucks isnt a back breaker and its definitely worth the money if you get involved in all the different modes like online play, franchise, etc...

I hear franchise got a lot of attention. Knowing EA, its probably buggy as hell, but at least they put in some effort.

I'm only a couple of games in, but the Franchise is impressive so far (but I'm a sucker for presentation). I really like the free agent bidding and the new IR (because the old one was nonexistent). The new "cut days" aren't really a big deal unless you have a badass returner and you want to see how they are. Also, I like the cold/hot streaks going on. Overall, the improvements have been good thus far.

I really like it so far. It's the first time in years that I actually sat there and played it for hours non-stop without getting pissed off or frustrated over stupid crap. I haven't got into a franchise yet, just was just trying to get sliders and setting working good, which I think I'm pretty close on as of now.

God I hate playing as the Texans D in 11. I usually take control of Demeco, but frikken Pollard can't cover anybody. ANYBODY.

Is it just me, or is every single game online laggy?

Check my connections and every thing. Never have lag issues.

Is it more of a graphics lag rather internet lag? I can't really tell the difference. Online that is

EA sports games always have lag. Especially around launch.

I can't decide whether I want NCAA 12 or Madden 12 instead. I think the last Madden I owned was 09, and I buy NCAA almost every year. I love college football and the only complaints I had about the Road to Glory mode have been fixed or updated this year. On the other hand, they now have a better superstar mode in Madden now too. Toys R Us still has Madden online for $45, and I see used NCAA's on craigslist for about the same price. Does anyone have both and can give me their view on which is better?

I have both...tough call. Im a bigger fan of NFL football than college football, so even if NCAA is slightly better, I still prefer to play Madden. The NCAA this year is very similar to last year's. I thought NCAA 11 was head and shoulders better than Madden 11. However, I think Madden stepped it up this year, so the two games are very close to each other.

    Buy both.
