Post count doesn't have anything to do with this, you're the one that is whining about that. And technically you're not a newbie, it says you registered in August which was about 3 months ago so using the "I'm a newbie with veterans jumping on me it isn't fair" isn't cutting it. Asian boy Look dude, I understand what you're saying. I went through all of this too. But no one ever called me a troll. They just dogged me for starting threads with out any consistency or perhaps a double post. It's a growing process and I'm a better poster because of it. If someone calls you a troll, it's probably because you said something that lacked merit or perhaps something that just isn’t perceived as an intelligent thought. There are a lot of Rocket haters in here and sometimes people get caught in the middle. It’s not permanent, just make objective posts and people will see a Rocket fan if you truly are one.

I was just testing and seeing how many people will reply to this thread if I stated that the Rockets are a losing team if they don't get more teammates involved. I feel like The Next Big Thing was targeted by senior members because his prediction wa not up to standards that we as fans expect. But the truth is that the Rockets have alot to learn about winning basketball. I do not think that his predictions are way off and so I was amaze at all the posters that call him a troll because his post counts were not up the standards. If a senior member started that post no one would have object. We are divided by the post counts on the BBS. Just like the real world and that is pretty sad.

I could have started a thread talking about how the Rockets were going to lose 90% of their games and then called them a bunch of losers and I would have been ripped to shreds. I just had the common sense not to start something like that. You're only a target when you're being annoying, and NextBigThing had a thread closed because he was complaining that Ming should be traded. Does that make the administrators veterans targetting newbies? RocketsMillium I am not a newbie. I just read the BBS for entertainment like everyone here. I just don't like it when people call others trolls before they even look at the thread. The first thing they look at is the post count. I don't need post counts to justify posting here if I have an opinion about the Rockets. The Rockets don't belong to me your anyone else. They belong to Les.
People give heypartner a hard time and the guy has a billion post how do you explain that? And Clutch has banned or reduced the number of posts of regulars on here how do you explain that? Or how about windandsea? Windandsea is relatively new and fits in fine. The bottomline is that you're the only one worried about post counts. There are people who have been registered here since 1999 and only have like 50 posts and nobody bats an eye. Maybe your pal NextBigThing is getting a hard time because for the last few days he has constantly complained about Ming's minutes, made countless threads asking for him to be traded to the point the administrator had to close one today, and then predicted the Rockets would lose all month just because he is ticked about Ming's minutes.
If u think Portland is an elite team, u've been off on planet troll too long, this is the same team that got spanked by Denver, lost to the shaqless lakers, had trouble beating winless Memphis team, and is still internally blowing up.
The reason people dislike Heypartner is because he is arrogant. Like I say I have nothing against any posters here but you guys think like the BBS is full of trolls. People come here to post and for entertainment they do not need someone calling them a troll. If you do not like a thread then leave it alone. Correct them if you think it is appropriate but don't jump on them. What does WindandSea have to do with this because he is Asian. Asianboy, I think a poster once said that we tune our bulls**t detector pretty high here. If you are putting up your opinion, you better back yourself up with proofs-- especially if you say negative things about the Rockets, and especially if you haven't said much on this board. This is actually very reasonable. We are proud of this board. We believe this is the best sport bbs in the world. We want to keep it that way. That's why we guard it like our own life. Anything that smells slightly like a troll will be blasted. On the newbie thing. It is not so much about oldies looking down on newbies (although some do, I have to say). It is more on you establishing your credibility first before sayong something outlandish. Windandsea lashed out at Ming's problem a few days ago. No one called her a troll because everybody here knows that she is not a hater. She has established her credibility. I think you are not a troll. But the NextBigThing did sound very trollish. Maybe he isn't. But he needs to establish his credibility first before he say something like "trade Ming" or "Rockets' going to lose 8 out of 10." Now, is that clear?
