    Wow.
Katy never gets the good ****.
Windy and thunder&lighting were going off like strobe lights in the sky...
But very, very little actual rain. :(

Can see lightning in the distance here in Round Rock but no rain. Watching the radar and seeing that line of storms disappear just east.

I was so excited there for a minute. I was totally ready to go play in the rain.

Ended up raining all night. First time I can even remember chit like that. We also had some major wind damage. Pic below, but be prepared for devastation.

I know, I know. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. It was a major loss, but at least we're all alive. That we can be thankful for.

No rain in the immediate future in Austin, and we are in the 71st day of 100 degree heat this summer, we blew right past the record of 69 days, and there is no end in sight.

    UGH !!

Mother Earth might be shifting in some way. Because in the 5 yrs living in my area I have never heard such loud and thunderous lighting ever in my entire life. It was so freaking loud it shook the vibrate the whole house. It sound like a war zone and someone dropping bombs a mile away.

Yeah, I was home alone with my dog last night. He kept barking and barking. He never did that before. I was so scared that something was happening like a tornado and I was not able to hear it. I def could feel the house vibrating. Last time when the house shook, it was Ike coming thru.

It was like a tropical storm outside yesterday. Insane wind and rain all afternoon. And then it all started again around 4 am.

Ok so it took a week but I wrote out everything I know about lawn care. Illustrations are a little crude but it gets the main ideas across. If you haven't noticed from my posts, I am pretty serious about lawn care and set in my ways so if you just want to argue about my methods, just save it for someone else.

Officially, were still on 70. High at Camp Mabry was only 94 yesterday. It was downright bearable outside.

Unfortunately, the fun is over. The all-time high of 112 (from 2000) is in jeopardy this weekend.

It's 106 with a few more hours of afternoon heating to go. All time record high is 109.
