Everyone can talk about Stevie and Mobes, but in last night's game KT was the difference maker. He brought energy, hustle and some pretty solid inside "O" to the game.

Many have been trying to trade KT, but if is consistent like last night's game we should be signing him to a new contract.

Props to Eddie also. His outside shots finally started dropping and he came up with some blocks and boards.

Lets hear it for the forwards, they made the difference in a pretty good game.

KT's post game was definitely a big addition to last nights win. It helps big time when the defense starts keying on the guards to having someone that can make them pay in the post.

Incredible the way that he always seems to destroy Golden State, they actually have to game-plan for him. He is a huge asset, and I can't believe it now but I hated it when they drafted him in the first round.

The frontcourt is what is going to push this team into the playoffs because we know what we're going to get from the guards (they gave us 56 points last night so they made a difference to). Getting Mo back will be HUGE, because that's another offensive weapon up front.

So everytime somebody posted about how the injuries and getting KT, Rice and MT back would be a big difference these were just "excuses" huh.

Now we get MT back, Rice is getting a bit better as he sees time, Yao Ming even looked a bit better, here we go... :D

We're 3-2 and LA is 2-5. I think we are doing just fine. If we paste Portland, we are having a great start to the season...

The reason that they are, "excuses", is that after so many years a team must learn to overcome that. I understand what your point is, every team would love to be healthy all year but won't be. However that being said teams will not be healthy all year, there is a good chance that Francis and Mobes will miss games this year what then? Do you not mind if they fold up when that happens? I certainly don't want to see that.

With MT, KT & EG manning the forward spots plus spelling Cato at C along with working Yao in, we have 4 scorers & garbage putbacks. I really like this team after they get insink! I think the real key is Cato's play at C!

Do I not mind? That has nothing to do with the fact that without them we are not as good of a team. Them being injured and out is not an "excuse" for them not being as good of a team. Look at the Shaq-less Lakers. They are not as good. That is not an excuse. Fact is, without KT, Rice and MT we are not as good and we rely too much on guard play. Now that EG, KT are playing well, and Rice and MT are coming back, we are a much better team. The point is these set backs were not excuses, they were a fact...

trade kenny. man that would be the stupidest thing the rockets ever did, if that happens.

kt is just to good. he's all hustle. and that's what we need.

6 assists...10 rebounds...20 points...This from a guy with a broken thumb, so swollen he can barely shoot free throws. This team will begin to solidify as injuries heal, starters return, and practices actually include starting players.

Inch for inch KT is a studly forward...oh, I wish he were 3" taller, at least 6'8" would he ever be a handful then!

It is amazing how far KT's game has evolved in the last few seasons. 2 seasons ago, KT was unable to finish around the hoop for whatever reason ie lack of height, quickness, what not. I was one of the most critical of him and am impressed at how far he has developed his game through sheer hard work and determination. KT has become a whole lot quicker and more decisive with his moves (probably due to shedding 30+ pounds since entering the league?) and now finishes well with both hands around the hoop. He has also shown solid man on man defense and quick hands at that end along with hustle and determination.

I am interested to see how teams will match up when the Rockets put KT and Mo together on the floor. Thus far, teams have put the lankier and smaller of their forwards on Griffin b/c he still tends to stand out on the perimeter. Mo showed a tendency to attack the rim a whole lot more in preseason and utilize his size and bulk. Should be interesting to see what happens when a team with a more traditional SF has to match up against Mo and KT.
