There is nothing more boring to me than arguing about TMac.

    I'm amazed this is happening.

Wow, I expect more out of you. You guys claim they we(as cuddle would say some "coalition"., lol.) call everyone who's disagrees with us names but really look back at what you just posted and what Cuddle has posted. "Idiot" has been used by cuddle in just about everyone of his post, you used it and came out of the gate with insults. Circle jerk? Really? You funny..

As far as rhetoric, Cuddle claims to be a fan of the "Art of Rhetoric", a self described internet police. Cuddle doesn't like it when the tables are turned with his own Rhetoric. Apparently neither do you. How is my rhetoric artificial when you cannot claim I've made anything up, it's the truth, a fact. Re-read all of my and Cuddle's post, he's the one with a imaginary comparison of a single point in time, of two different types of players in two different eras.

At the same time he agrees with all of Tracy's faults and doesn't want him back. But yet here he is, for what? To blow some up someone arse? He says here to just prove a point. What point? And who's is artificial?

If you have something substantial to add to the conversation, add it. Don't come in and insult me because you don't like me or my opinion. This is a thread about whether or not I would want Tracy back for the minimum. Add something, drop your insults. Do you like Cuddle's comparison? And why?

The point of the rehash is that yes, I have been reading what you post, and over half of the time it's just you saying "Sorry bro, u make no sense."
You go out of your way to "prove" that Moses is better than Tracy over his career. Do you see the connection there? Do you see how that doesn't matter because I was never directly comparing the players? I never called it a true comparison, but no matter how many times I've emphasized it, you still keep bringing it up. For the last time, Moses being a better player in his career is the ******* point. They both left. Their teams did better after they left. Where is the misrepresentation of history? Again:
As you can see, I did pick out more "joe smoes" for you...pages ago. You could do this with virtually any player in the NBA, because post hoc ergo propter hoc is a very real logical fallacy that you can't seem to let go.

I "admit to skipping points" because your points aren't even up for debate, and I've long since addressed them. I posted a complete rehash of historical facts showing that I accept them, yet you and the circular argument brigade keep shoving them in my face even though I've acknowledged them multiple times. You keep saying that I'm "talking in circles" but that's exactly what you're doing, and that's why I don't address some "points" lest we continue in a circle. If both parties accept the facts, what's the point of constantly reposting them? My argument is both opinion and fact, with a clear distinction between the two and evidence to support my opinion. I have outlined all the facts and accepted those being "used against me," but hey you don't have to bother reading that. It's not your M.O. I mean, I've posted multiple times to show my acknowledgement, but just keep posting them like it's compelling new evidence!
No matter how many times I've explained this, even in the post you're asking me to reread of all people, you still don't understand. I'm not comparing the players to each other. I'm comparing the situations they were in.
    This explains it well enough.

You're saying that I need to "comprehend my own post"? Should I ask myself what my post means? I've been explaining it to you in every reply because you keep bringing up, and I need to "comprehend my own post"? Boy, you sure are good at turning the tables!

You gave me a set of inane questions, I answered every single one of them. I didn't avoid anything. Now here you are, eluding all of my questions.
I have now answered all of your questions twice, because it seems you like repetition. Still waiting for you to return the favor, though.

I'm asking you for your own sake. You're not giving me a "dose of my own medicine" because you have no idea what you're doing, lol. You're out of your element, using terms you don't understand and completely missing the point of some methods. But by all means, continue embarrassing yourself if that's what you want to do. While you're at it though, look up the term "charlatan" for me. :)

No doubt the guy was arguably one of the top 3 Rockets players ever talent wise, but a combination of bad timing, injuries, and HORRIBLE supporting cast players through away any chance he had a greatness in the city of Clutch... such a shame, the guy could almost do anything. I remember watching him carry a horrid team in that first round matchup against the Mavericks and still almost win the series despite the rigged officiating and one of the worst supporting casts in recent memory.

But...but...he can play so well still! (for about 1/3 of the season)
Tracy apologists say he has a ton of mileage on his body, but then say he's worked out a lot (like he supposely does every offseason) and is healthier than ever! ZOMG! Sign him! He's going to be a huge addition off the bench!!! Like having a guy who hates to play well vs. bad teams and is hurt or recovering from an injury 1/2 the season is going to REALLY effing help us. Chemistry is "kind of" important dont'cha think folks? Nah...eff chemistry...

It's interesting how very divided it is still. It looks like those that voted yes aren't quite commenting as to why, where the no's are dominating the discussion.

Its not a matter of whether he would contribute or not. I simply feel like his time with the team is done, management and his actions burned the bridge between TMac and the Rockets fan base. The guy played his ass off here for some years, unfortunately his supporting casts while he was healthy were quite possibly some of the worst of a top 5 team in the west i have seen in the past decade. Poor guy just ran out of gas

McGrady was anything but poor, he was the highest paid player on the team.

In terms of potential, upside, athletiscm, and hype the guy had it all. A combination of nagging injuries, a training staff that seemed to rush any rehabilitation (or maybe it was him trying to come back and help the team as soon as he could.), and other factors limited what he could have done for this organization in the long run. When i say "poor" guy, im not speaking financially. Im speaking as an athlete who knows what it feels like not to reach your potential due to factors outside your control, the millions are nice, but it cant replace that residing feeling in your gut knowing that you never achieved what you set out for most of your life to do.
