About picking rookies. This year there was no transcendent rookie, IMO and it is very hard to gauge how good they're gonna be. There could be a Tyreke. But good rookies usually go on terrible teams which inflate their stats. Drafting rookies is allowed but is very risky as it comes down to personal interpretation for each voter on how they think the rookie will do
I think it is too. You can count on an athletic freak who will probably be lost in team defense and in some half court sets. But he will play hard and be an absolute monster on the fast break. It's a good pick. I prefer Batum since hes also fantastic athletically but knows the NBA game and is a great defender. There was another player who I almost picked. Wonder where he'll go.
