I don't think I've ever seen a QB actually throw the ball that far past the line of scrimmage. I've seen them fake it but not actually throw it.
maybe but it's still apples and oranges as it's preseason. Not to mention all cases are different and whether or not him doing that in "real" games actually cost them the ball game is a whole other story..i can't recall all the circumstance to which you are referring. Point being, it's preseason.
so reflecting on the game The good: Wade knows Defense, we had like nearly 10 sacks, 30 QB hits..nice Braman Watt Rex had his fit all in all, with a lot of key players out- (AJ, Arian, Joseph) a great effort and the defense overall had its great moments
Final tally 7 (!!!!!!) sacks. I know its preseason but that's exciting stuff. Watts looks great, Reed looks promising and who in the hell is Braman?!? Ogbannaya had several exciting plays but his actual per carry average was bad.
Well, from my purely unbiased Cowboys fan point of view, I came away thoroughly impressed by Watt and Braman. Watt looked very solid, and even though I know he was going up against 3rd string OL, Braman was running through both Tackles like they weren't even there. I also like what I saw from that Jean guy at WR. They kept talking about how great Ogbonnaya looked, but lets face it, the guy was wide open on like 5 of his 6 receptions... and he was below average on running plays. Although, to be fair, it wasn't entirely his fault on the run, the O-Line got practically zero movement all night long. Mario Williams looked awful at OLB. He really does have quite a ways to go.
Despite a very satisfying game overall, this is what prolly bothered me the most... I expected more from Mario..it seems he should play closer in, but then I realized that would be DE...o well
