I don't see why the switch to the 3-4 is a concern. They could innovate some new scheme where only one DE lines up on the line of scrimmage and the would still get better production than last year. The only thing that scares me is Kubiak. I hope he's learned from his mistakes(I've said this 2 seasons in a row.) Because honestly, not even the Jets D can stop quaterback matt schaub. I think we go 11-5. Pittsburgh is the only team I fear, but maybe if we open the roof and........nevermind.
Well, for one thing, our best defender is moving to a new position and who knows if he can even play it.
I have been impressed with the draft and the free agent signings. This team appears to have addressed their most glaring weaknesses. I still think Kubiak is a liability, but I will predict 10-6 and the first playoff appearance. As negative as I have been about this team in the past, wow, this is an amazing prediction. I must be crazy!
It sucks that I can't get excited about our guys cuz they've let me down so many times. If we stay focused and don't lose any cheese games like the beng's fin's or raiders. I think we'll land square at 10-6. If we dont't stay focused then 8-8 or 7-9 wouldn't shock me.
