I voted CBS for obvious reasons. But my favorite football channel is definitely NFL Redzone. The Sunday NFL Ticket package from Directv sounds cool, cause you can watch any game you want, but the Redzone shows you anything of significance. Any update, highlight, touchdown, big play, etc. I love that channel.

NFL Redzone is like football p*rn.

Especially if you're into fantasy football.

They could charge $50 bucks a week for it and I would probably sell my kidneys to pay for it.

Joe Buck announces a Super Bowl with the fervor of Stephen Wright delivering a eulogy.

I watch most games in a sports bar with the sound off, so it makes little difference.

I'll take ESPN, even if I don't always like who is in the booth. They have the best picture quality.

I hate Fox. Don't care for NFL Network. I would rate CBS second. Honestly I forgot NBC had football.

    This.

the others are all pretty even in my book, but Fox is terrible. Kenny Albert, Joe Buck, Siragusa, ughhh. And their presentation sucks too.

    Exactly.

That damn robot, Aikman is a homer, Buck has zero passion, etc. It is just turrible.

Gotta go with Al Michaels on NBC. Not a fan of Collinsworth, but at least he is knowledgeable and shows some passion on big plays.

I like the CBS teams that don't have Simms and Gumbel. I used to like Stockton and Millen on Fox about 10 years ago, before Stockton got a case of Summerallitis.

FOX is too busy sleeping with the NFC East.

ESPN is too full of themselves. (well, Gruden is pretty cool)

Fox hasn't done much to change itself since it first came on the scene. Sure, they got that always displaying the score into mainstream use (which was a huge contribution), but everything else sort of fell into their lap, and they haven't done much to make themselves better (they fell into Madden, who left... James Brown left... Joe Buck's dad was famous and he was already calling basebal, so he got the football gig by default).

But they still have Terry Bradshaw!

NBC has gotten better from their original debut.... where they tried to shove Tiki Barber, Jerome Bettis, and endless Costas. I like the way they have it setup now where its Patrick running the pregame highlight show and halftime show, and Costas handles the post-game show and throws in an endless soliloquy every now and then. They're still forcing Dungy on us, but Harrison is more than enough to make up for that (he's awesome).

CBS has done the best as far as building up the pre-game show into something that could copete with ESPN gameday. Believe it or not, the Charley Casserly segments are usually informative and interesting. JB is the best pre-game show host, and Marino and Esiason are the best studio analysts. You still have to put up with mush-mouth (Shannon Sharpe), but even he's improved over the last 2-3 years.

I personally enjoy the NFL Network pregame show.
