"My Possee's On Broadway" was by Sir Mix-a-lot. Snow isn't hip hop either, he's a reggae artist (and a good one too). Too bad he's typecast as 'the informer guy'. "Back 2 Tha Hotel" was N2Deep. They broke up in 1996 and Jonny Z has a few solo hits including "No Senor". Manny was probably being sarcastic when he mention Robert Van Winkle but what Vanilla Ice did to hip hop bittersweet. He helped get to the mainstream but in doing so whored himself into whatever image SBK Records felt he should hold. His lyrical skills weren't anything worth mentioning but the production was top notch for it's day. His follow up to To The Extreme called Mind Blowin' (I think) wasn't half bad but he tried to hard to redeem himself and ended up sounding pathetic on some cuts.
