so... you wouldn't trust Brady,Manning, or Brees in clutch situations? Mike McCarthy OWNS that system like a pimp putting a b**** on a street corner.

If it wasn't for McCarthy's schemes and playcalling, Rogers would still be sitting there wondering how he become Green Bays new hope.

its also the same system that had Aaron Freaking Brooks playing lights out a couple of seasons in New Orleans, it's the reason deuce mcallister became the Saints leading rusher in club history, and it's the same system that saved Joe Horns ass from being forever gotten in History.

Do not underestimate McCarthy's, he can plug scrubs in and still have them playing solid to very good(at times).

Aaron Brooks never played "lights out" in his entire life.

The best you could say is that he was adequate for one or two years, QB rating in the mid-80s.

    Saints offense under McCarthy:
    2001 - 9th
    2002 - 19th
    2003 - 11th
    2004 - 15th

    Hardly gangbusters.

Even HOFer Brett Favre laid a giant turd of a season in 2006 under McCarthy's system.

Give credit where credit is due, his lifetime achievement is well behind Brady and Manning, but since he took over for Favre, no quarterback has played better than Aaron Rodgers.

Yes. When it comes down to the raw facts, only Brady can lay claim to being more accomplished than Rodgers come playoff time, and even Brady's playoff stats aren't as gaudy as Rodgers' are.

Brooks lead the Saints to their first playoff win in club history against the freaking greatest show on turf Rams(lost next round tho)..under McCarthy

then Brooks had a stellar year afterwards... under McCarthy( tied for second in td passes, top 10 in passing, and 19th for qb rating) those stats for Aaron Freaking Brooks(the guy who throws backwards passes!!) are insanely good...and again, Under McCarthy

Sounds about right. Not sure about the Giants, but I haven't paid much attention to the NFC; how was Chicago's offseason?

I went with New York because Chicago's offseason has sucked (Okoye, Roy Williams, Marion Barber), and it took a lot of bad luck for the Giants to miss the playoffs last year.

I also considered the Bucs but I think they overachieved last year.

Considering they were 9-1 against teams with losing records and 1-5 against teams with winning records, I don't know if that's true.

Overachieved may not have been the best choice of words, but they're not as good as what their record implies is basically what I was trying to say.

If the Jets can toe the line and bring their self destructive tendencies to heel. Defeet their arch-nemesis the Patriots and not come out flat to start the season....I think they have a chance to walk all over the NFL.

The Jets got to the AFC championship last year despite playing their wildcard and divisional game on the road and they even beat the Pats when it counted the most. I think it will be hard for them to even get to the AFC championship game like they did last year with the Pats having improved and looking for payback. The Colts, Steelers and Ravens are always tough as well.

Jets running game is very suspect with Shonn Greene (mega bust last year) and LT being another year older.. Moreover, you're not going to win **** with Mark Sanchez as the QB no matter how good that defense is.
