Matt Turk to Jacksonville. http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2011/7/28/2302125/report-jaguars-agree-to-terms-with-matt-turk
RT @davidcanter: Congratulations to DEC MANAGEMENT client Matt Turk for agreeing to terms with the Jacksonville Jaguars
Extremely happy about this. Like everyone's been saying, this had Beltran2 written all over it. If Aso wanted to come here, he'd have been here when we aced the Jets highest possible offer. I just hope the Bucs do swipe him and get him out of the AFC. We paid FMV for Joseph. Don't forget Robinson left and got 6 years for $57M. This is relatively cheap and keeps us in play for Manning. I'd welcome Aso, but our secondary will be a lot more competent with a good CB, good safety, and fair safety balancing out KJ than Aso blanking one side and directing all balls at KJ with two fair safeties trying to clean up his mess. Quin behind Joseph and hopefully Manning (or Landry) behind Jackson. They don't need to restructure a thing. They're WAAAAYYY below the cap.
Wasn't Matt Turk's pathetic attempt at avoiding a safety against the Jags? And I'm all for Aso to the Bucs!
He's #22 in this video <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/9tUMbjg8EmE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Didnt even know Turk was a FA. But good for both sides for moving on. This forces the Texans hand to find a new P.
If we were interested, you'd think we wouldn't be so quick to give Jones money he hasn't earned at all. Chasing Burress or even Moss as a vertical threat would have made a ton of sense. I've liked Chambers since his Miami days...but he's been really unproductive since. Something's off. He's also lost a little bit of speed.
I'm just glad I don't have to watch him punt for the Texans anymore.... on the other hand, I look forward to him winning the job for the Jags!
I couldn't be more happier with not waiting on Aso's decision. The Jets lost Brad Smith to the Bills bc of it. Their offense and special teams are getting weaker by the minute. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/sto...smith-jumps-new-york-jets-rival-buffalo-bills
You are spending way too much whining about a guy getting paid what he was expected to be paid by a team with a glaring need at that position. Joseph will be the best cornerback the Texans have ever had by a long shot.
