    I'm sorry but when I hear boehner speak about spending cuts and "big" government, I steam.

    I can't see how any of the American people would stand with this guy simply out of spite of what obama stands for.

    You might disagree with obama on every issue, but to cut government programs to protect the wealthy because you have a beef with the obama. Really?

    Boehner is determined to run this country straight into default.

    Actually I think the president was really trying to give Boehner some breathing room with his remarks. Boehner's problem is not with the President, it's with the crazies in his own caucus.

    Someone said that the nuts don't care if they win elections next year as long as they can control the Republican party, looks like they are doing a pretty good job of it.

    Tonight I learned that if 5 out of 193 Democrats vote for a bill, it means that the bill is considered bipartisan.

    Yeah that's about right. They don't want to hear the spewing anger of us common everyday americans, and their bs ways.

    Obama said it right: the american people might have elected a divided government, but not a dysfunctional one.

    This is sick greediness going on in washington.

    man i'm tired of this ****. boehner lied to the american people on live tv. bi-partisan support my ass. five votes! i don't like him at all and i don't trust him...with good reason.

    It still irks me that we squandered away our surplus in less than a decade, follow where that money went and you find where the corruption in washington really is.
