Heres to one of the greatest tv shows ever made which officially ended a few days ago with its series finale on NBC. I've never seen a show that goes so deep into character development and the true underlying problems in life. So sad to see it end. lets discuss the greatness in its 5 seasons. Clear eyes, full hearts... CANT LOSE

Unfortunately no one watches this show. It really was a fantastic show with some amazing characters.

Perhaps if you edit the title and say Minka Kelly is in the show, you may get more people interested. ;)

One of my favorite shows. I think I watched all 5 seasons in the last week or so though. It was one of those shows that you feel every emotion the character feels. I would put season 1 of friday night lights as one of the most epic single seasons. I know its not the same genre but it would equate to the single season of Kings or Firefly. It was just amazing. I really wish the show wasn't derailed in the second season by the writers strike.

The relationship between Coach and Tammi are like life lessons on marriage. All the characters were so real. By the end of season 5 I actually started to get into the story lines of the new characters. I think that Peter Berg being a movie director as well really used the ability to catch a moment like you do with limited time in a movie but instead over an entire series.

I never heard of the show until, for some reason, I watched the last 2 episodes. Hope it's on Netflix.

Started watching it a few weeks ago, I'm halfway through season 2 right now. Pretty amazing show but I wish there was more football talk. Like when Street told Saracen the 18 yard out route was like the unicorn of passes, I thought that was cool.

It began the first, and maybe second season on Tuesday nights but wasn't pulling in the ratings. It's a shame too. I don't think people even gave it a chance because they thought it was just a football show, yet garbage like Dancing With the Stars and American Idol get two or three nights a week.

FNL is one of the best shows ever written IMO. I am a Peter Berg fan for sure.

It didn't start out on friday. Too bad nobody watched it, despite that it got 5 solid seasons. There really isn't much they could have done with it.

I don't watch much tv... usually just sports.

A friend had me watch the first couple episodes on netflix and from then on I was a addicted.

I saw seasons 1-4, but wasn't able to catch 5 on tv. I'll have to wait for that one.

    Highly recommended.

I think most of it's target audience was just too busy watching sports...

It's like the idea for a network based around Video games...problem is the audience is probably well...playing video games.

I really don't agree with you here. Although the show is based on Texas high school football, what made the show great was everyday life in a small town.

The relationships between the characters, particularly between Coach Taylor and Tammi really makes the show. Just great acting across the board. The show could have been based on something other than football and been just as good in my opinion.

If you haven't seen this show do yourself a favor and watch it from the beginning. You will not regret it.
