Jordan Hill didn't regress last season. He just didn't recieve enough minutes to progress. Now that Adelman is gone, that will change.
By the look of this Video, he is getting a little wider and bulkier. Not much, but you can definitely tell Keep it up Jordan! http://www.kvoa.com/news/how-the-nba-lockout-is-affecting-former-wildcat-jordan-hill/
wow. he is gonna be a future d league all star for sure, but on a serious tip, i think dorsey can still make it in the nba. he didn't exactly play terrible in toronto. he was actually pretty decent at catching alley oops lol.
Looking at these highlights from last season, it is easy to see that with more time on the floor Jordan Hill would be a much better player than he is right now. It is also easy to see how much better he will be soon. <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/w-3FbJVaHGk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/nRfxgeH2MbU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/IPcsApZ5rpc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/ctjBP3Ap9Aw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/LmKuWZWuHDM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> With more minutes then he could have possibly averaged a double-double in points and rebounds.
You have got to be joking. I am as big a Hill supporter as anyone, but the guy had a huge stretch where he got as many minutes as he could handle, and he was AWFUL... We just have to hope that it was family drama keeping him down.
When it comes to Jordan Hill game, it comes down to being active. When his active, his effective. Jordan just needs to be more consistent with his effort and activity level out there on the court. There were times out on the court that he just seemed lost and uninterested. But like you said, here's hoping that it was due to the off the court issues that were bothering him..
Kid has talent.. no one can deny that. He shown some amazing flashes. Lets just hope he can get it together. He is not a Thabeet level prospect. Much much better. (he was terrible most of last season)
if only he'd get stronger... if he developed the post game that landry developed that one year when he was one of the leading scorers in the 4th quarter, he'd be really good. i think it's possible for him to do so since landry came to the rockets as player who only dunked on people and had a midrange jumpshot.
To Jordans credit, his minutes were sketchy at best. I'm thinking maybe that or the fact that he had personal issues had something to do with it. It seems that he has gotten over it and is playing better. I just hope this is not all hype.
My family watched Dorsey last wednesday night at Fonde and he looked lazy and barely able to run the court. He looked really muscular and cut, but unable to score without dunking, missing several chip shots. He was a much better passer than I realized though. Point center?? j/k
