so Im trying to feed Joey his lunch and he thinks its more fun to feed the dog then it eat it himself.

From start to finish, its not just because he is full and doesn't want anymore.

And its like this for all his meals, not just this one.

Ever had this problem? What'd you do?

If i put the dog up while he eats, she will tear up our apartment door trying to get out, or bark nonstop until we let her out of her cage.

get your belt ready, it's important to show your kid who has authority as soon as possible.

He's obviously not human. Have you had his DNA checked?

If you are going to address spelling and grammar gaffs.... you should have addressed "funner"

Damn ToyCen, you should consider an alternate ID for "serious" threads...

Perhaps if you convey to the child that the food is an airplane on a collision course with the child's mouth, as if his mouth were the twin towers... wait a minute......

He just wants you to love him. He sees how you prefer people who's job is to feed animals.

jokes aside, my +/- one year old son is the same way. but it's not just because it's funnier to fee the dogs, he's just not a big eater of actual food, and hasn't been since the first time we tried. he never liked baby food at all. he is a little better with real people food, but overall nto that interested, really.... much prefers the bottle still.

some kids are like that, our guy is doing fine from a growth and development perspective, so we're just trying to roll with it. It can be disheartening, especially if you spend time making him something, or food is going to waste - because everyone says to just keep trying - and obviously don't want to be bottle feeding forever, but I think that's just they way it is; every kid is different.

Looks like you cannot control either of the two: your dog and your kid.

Just say "NO," firmly. Stop the physical action, and don't give into it.

Also, do this with the baby.

How difficult is that to do nowadays??
    FAIL.

A rough treatment or criticism is a "gaff" and its plural is "gaffs." See for yourself in the link.

ALSO, it's "One-year-old," as you're supposed to spell out numbers below 10.
