After Shaq retired, he said: "The beasts are all gone now with me and Yao Ming retired. There’s only really one real big man left, and that’s Dwight Howard. I expect him to win three or four championships. If he doesn’t win three or four championships, I’ll be disappointed.”

Yup, Dwight Howard will never be better than the Shaqster. Screw Dwight Howard.

I'm not sure i'd consider that clowning. Atleast he called him a "REAL" big man.

Sounds like a compliment to both players. Shaq doesn't always give that sort of acknowledgment FYI.

much ado about nothing. this is last week's news and this is Shaq making a conscious effort to praise Howard, not clown him...

Nah, too old now. Not only is he over the hill, Tim Duncan is buried under it.

I consider that motivation! Dwight is still young, he'll be able to get a few rings before his career is done.

Shaq is pedestalizing himself a little by saying Dwight is a beast BUT he has to earn accolades like I did.

But for Shaq, thats as good a compliment as you'll get. He's got a legacy to protect

I hope Dwight wins a title.

    I hope Lebron doesn't.

I like Dwight Howard, he's a good guy and I think he deserves a championship.

I also read how he is thinking of playing overseas only to refine parts of his game that he is not allowed to refine in the NBA. I'm thinking he's probably going to try to increase his range. That would really help his game.

Unfortunately their roster is strapped with bad contracts, so barring a miraculous resurgence from Arenas, I can't see it happening next season.

Oden is so a beast. I would've tried to grab him. But 1 leg shorter than the other to the point where he's got to where a heel to balance? Ugh..

Yeah. His third leg is just a tad bit shorter than his other two.
I wouldn't grab it though, I certainly don't advise grabbing it...

Not clowning, challenging. And Shaq called himself out in the late 90s for not having rings.

    It's not a compliment. It's a call out.

It's him saying, Hi there, I'm Shaq. If i was playing today in my prime I'd have not 1 not 2 but 4 rings of my own

If you're going to try to call yourself a "real center" you better be worthy of being in the same breath as me.
