I also have a similar problem. Only my neighbor enjoys playing his loud music in his truck early on the weekend and it starts vibrating my house. It’s really starting to annoy me. The guy is in his 20s and lives at home probably don’t pay rent and puts every cent of his paycheck into his audio system. I never see him with any females and he thinks he is a billy bad ass. I know I am guilty of the same thing in my younger years but damn every weekend! c’mon. I am worried about approaching the dude on it but if he gives me some lip or does the opposite I don't know how bad this could get. I want to live a peaceful life and I know this guy is a piece of sh**. I am not sure I want to notify the police on the dude I'm not sure they all here legally. They probably are...I'm just pissed.

If you think approaching the guy would cause an altercation...I'd just call the cops. If he was so worried about being referred to INS...he wouldn't have done it in the first place.

I don't know how that would help unless Rockets03 knows dog speak. I have tried it, my dogs love it, but I have a sense that I could be politely cussing them out and they would like that too.

But you might try talking with the owners, err, their guardians ;)
I have one dog prone to bark and my neighbor moved to a night shift where the barking was a problem, I took no offense and it was easy to accomodate. If they don't respond after maybe 2 attempts--they you might try the police or something.

dont read this if you're squemish

about a year ago there was this case in my country where an old lady got attacked by 3 dogs. i dont know what kind they're called but they're the usual guard looking dogs.
the old woman escaped and was admitted to the hospital.
the owner, i guess desperate to avoid a lawsuit or a fine by the police, clubbed the 3 dogs with hammers in his house compound, possibly to 'punish' the dogs even with passer bys pleading him to stop. he then hanged the dogs carcasses on his iron gate by their heads.
so in the newspapers, the order of the headline was woman got admitted to hospital, followed by dog owner visits woman in hospital the next day (even showed a picture of the ****er by the woman's bedside and they were smiling at each other), and finally the 3rd day was a picture of the dead dogs. 4th day a whole bunch of letters came in screaming for the owner's head. i dont think the woman knew about the clubbing when he came to see her. he did mention something about the dogs are 'taken care of'.

dont know why i wrote this or if its got anything to do with the thread, but maybe you should make sure your neighbours aren't as crazy as this maniac. they could take the 'easy' way out instead of taking care of them when the police come knocking.

I would recommend that you do *not* attempt to be neighborly. Then the neighbor will know you have an issue with the dogs -- translation: A motive for when you finally crack and shoot them.

I would instead recommend spraying weed killer on their food. They will either starve because they won't eat it, or eat it and probably get very sick. A sick dog is much less likely to bark.

TJ: What you just suggested is not only illegal for more than one reason, but it is ****ing stupid. If you are joking, use a smilie.

By my count, that's crack number two you've made about killing animals. If you want to continue posting, don't make number 3.

    Jeff --
Honestly I was joking that time. The other time I was referencing an acquaintance's deed.

Everybody remember that the dogs don't know that what they are doing is wrong. Dogs bark...that's what they do. It is up to human beings to keep the dogs in a way that fits our societal conventions.

TJ: I realize you were kidding...but that is the sickest thing I have ever seen posted (save and except for the Wichita massacre).

    ROckets03,

    here is a solution.

Buy a LASKO fan and sleep with it on high. and you will never hear those dogs again.

Amazing I just opened up my window and just screamed "STF UP!" Amazing because it seems to be working.

    Knock on wood.
