One of the best games I was able to witness live. Felt just like yesterday this game was played.

Not to take anything from Yao but Francis' performance is largely forgotten as that being the first meeting of Yao and Shaq.

A lot of what ifs though from that game. Like what if Rudy T stays healthy, what if Francis and JVG mesh, and what if Francis stays healthy. That night really seemed like it was going to be the start of something great that never materialized.

I remember watching that game live. How great it was to watch Yao play without worrying every play when he would hurt himself.

Francis' career is just as sad as Yao's and TMac's, granted each in different ways.

Great throwback to the past. I'm really glad we don't have that style of play any more though - iso with everyone standing around.

    i miss rudy.

francis was fun when on and yet such a ballstopper all the time. We all know it, but it's interesting to remember with stuff like this

Still one of my favorite groups together.

I just wish we could have kept Cuttino regardless of Tmac.

Kelvin Cato wouldn't be terrible to have as a back up at this point. Can't be worse than Jordan Hill.

Saw it live, perhaps Francis' most Jordanesque performance. He was on fire. His raw athleticism was destroyed by injuries and substance abuse. Could have been one of the greats, just too many "demons."

I remember it well. Very enjoyable and SF had everything going. Too bad it was marred by that pathetic flagrant foul call against Shaq. It soured the game for me some.
