Thats called hustle. White boys live off **** like that. WE NEED THAT. WE CAN'T ****ING JUMP DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?
...and if you are stuck guarding the caveman, do not expect your teammate to switch - particularly if he just "figured this guy out".
Don't point to nowhere and say "Hey somebody is injured" then drive to the hoop while your defender looks away. gwatson86 is just not cool with that.
In a pick up game. 1. make sure to check the ball 2. if you are passing in the ball, make sure the defenders are aware that the ball is in play, do not take advantage of unfortunate situation (ex: someone is tying a shoes, injured, talking to someone.. etc) 3. Do not waste people's time by arguing, just simply offer that you or the opponent should shoot for the ball 4. make sure to take a turn to take the ball out 5. respect the home court rule

When you "unintentionally" rough someone up and they call foul, don't say stupid **** like "aw cmon man it's streetball." It'll only make things worse.
Keep your shirt on. I hate what and 1 did to basketball. Everyone is skip and hot sauce these days. Dribbling around on your elbows and missing layups isn't impressive. Wait, that's me, especially the blown layups part.
If you're an incredibly gifted dude at 6'5" playing against average 5'5"-5'10" guys, there's really no need of giving it your all like you're trying out for the Grizzlies or something. We all know you're good AND you're tall. Not like we're going to block you or anything. Why attempt to spin move drive and windmill it down every single time?
