which one would it be and why ?

For me w/o a doubt it is Game 7 Lakers @ Kings (2002 WCF). Till this day this has been the most important game i have ever watched in my nba watching history.

Since I'm one of the younger fans, unfortunately I didn't get to see Houston in their glory days. I would say that game against the Lakers to win 22 was a magic moment for the team. The atmosphere in Houston was incredible. Also, game 6 against Portland, my first 2nd round! :)

even though i feel sorry for the younger fans in the sense that they haven't seen true success, that's a good one. very fun and memorable game.

Lakers vs Rockets game 4 2004

The intensity of that game was out of the roof.

    Nachbar vs Malone

Clutch shots by francis and Kobe

    Overtime

It would been much sweeter if the Rockets would have won. :(

Ok, I could post quite a few Rockets games...and those would be the ones that define me most as a Rocket fan and an NBA fan. 86 WCF Sampson game at the Forum....MadMax going nuts in the 2nd half in PHX...Game 7 the next season with Elie's Kiss of Death....Game 1 at Orlando. Incredible games.

Outside of the Rockets, it would absolutely be Game 7 of the 1990 ECF. I loved the Bad Boys teams. I loved that they played defense and hustled at a level I hadn't really seen before. I know they didn't...but it felt to me then like they invented team defense. And that they were able to beat MJ and the Bulls (holding them to 74 points!), when all of my friends told me I was nuts, was just awesome to me.

I am a younger fan, since 2001... one of my more memorable moments was when we were playing the Lakers in Round 1 in 2004. We almost had that Game 1 in LA... Steve Francis driving in, and then kicking it out to Jimmy Jackson for the open corner 3 with time winding down... and he misses it. First time I felt legitimately disappointed while watching basketball.

Another big memory. My first Rockets game I attended was on December 14th, 2006, as I live in the Bay Area. Since then I've attended every single Rockets game against the Warriors. I had my Rockets gear on and it seemed like the Rockets were about to win the game... and then Baron Davis makes the 3 at the buzzer over Yao to win the game. All the fans erupted while I fell back into my seat. Another disappointing game as TMac also didn't play in that game... he was injured, as usual.

I also remember my first live Rockets game against the Knicks in the Garden back in 05. Funnily enough, my dad who was taking me suffered a concussion an hour before we set to leave. He still took me and Scott Padgett hit the game winner. Lenny Wilkins resigned that night.

Gar Heard's incredible shot in Suns/Celtics triple overtime game

Anyone who saw that shot, remembers that game in the 1976 finals. I was rooting for the Suns, (I had not moved to Houston yet), but Boston won. Has been NBA fan ever since.

Sorry, lost my title from previous post. The previous post is about Gar heard's incredible shot, forcing overtime. Suns lost in triple overtime to Celtics.
