Didn't realize there were hotties in it. My bad. I think I'm just disappointed in the suck of all AS related events. They could do a lot better.
ESPN has a replay of the Celebrity game now, and I have it on in the background. Jennie Finch might be the hottest woman with a 3-week-old kid ever.
I remember the old Home Run Derby that ESPN replayed for a while. It also sucked, but you got to see several legends in their prime. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_Run_Derby_(TV_series)
Some fan almost fell 20 feet head first into the pool deck area trying to catch a ball, but his friends grabbed his legs and held onto him. After last weeks event, I cant believe someone could be stupid enough to flirt with disaster like that.
The best way to fix the home run derby: Get all the washed up has-been setroiders, and let them have at it. I'm talking Canseco, Bonds, McGwire, Sosa, Palmiero, hell as a wild card, throw in someone like Brady Anderson.
No video, but here is the link with a pic. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/allstar11/news/story?id=6759862
I turned it on for a couple of minutes, but then saw Cano stopping and drinking gatorade. Way too slow, so I turned it off. You should not be allowed to step out during your turn.
Top Five Yankees of All Time Know this is a Houston site but this was an interesting topic on ESPN First Take yesterday in regards to Jeter's 3K my five, (i'm not a big baseball guy) Ruth Gehrig (stats are amazing) Mantle Ford (one pitcher) Jeter man no dimaggio, what's the sixty's song, where have you gone joe dimaggio?
sorry, i'm having brain freezes this morning, meant to start a thread, and yes i meant to say top five yankees
I always end up watching the celebrity game too, but I mainly watch to see who takes the game WAAAAAAAY too seriously. There's always two or three. This year, the awards went to Nick Jonas and James Denton.
Oh...and the blonde kid from Glee. He almost ran over Jason Aldean when he cut in front of him in the outfield to make a diving catch. Aldean, who has a baseball background, had a beat on it and was going to make a pretty routine catch.
