    Looking to sell for a friend, she's asking $500 but I'm not sure what market value is. I think the re-furbished ones sell at Apple.com for $450. Would have to pick up from 59/Weslayan area.

    not to rain on anyone's parade but I just bought a near perfect condition 16 gb + Att 3g for $300 off craigslist and it came with the case the person had.

    I actually bought it for my kids (but I did reserve the rights to have my own apps folder on it and I just watched the first 2 episodes of Game of Thrones on HBO Go)

    Good luck to her getting more but I think ~$300-325 is market value right now on an ipad 1 especially since you can get a ipad 2 16gb at the apple store for ~$500.
