I was impressed with Meyers Leonard. Legit 7 footer who can really move. No offense in his game, I wonder if we can snag him in the 2nd round if he declares next year?
If the Rockets select a Dukie... (Austin Rivers) the year after selecting a Jayhawk (Morris) and don't resign Chuck... I may have to find a new team to root for
All I can say is Les Alexander better keep Hayes. He cannot afford to lose both China and Kentucky in the same offseason. These two places have like more than a billion people living in them combined.
This draft has so much talent. Andre DRummand will be the top pick. He is the best big man prospect maybe in a decade and on top of that there is over ten players in this draft with all-star potential. We need to trade for picksi n this draft if possible. This is where our future is!
Don't want to create a new thread for this: Lithuania is gonna win the FIBA U19 World Championship. Not too many NBA prospects in the tournament (more at the U20 European Championship that starts this next week in Spain). Valanciunas has shown great leadership throughout the tournament, and an interesting variety of offensive weapons (also in 1on1 situations). He has been the absolute MVP of the tournament. <iframe width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/MU9S1ADUCmg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Look out for Tony Wroten. He is Nate Robinson cousin. 6'5 PG great size for a PG. Jay Bilas said he's one of the best passers he has watched in a long time.
If there is a regular season this year - I do not expect us to be drafting at 14. I am hoping we'll pick as high as 6 but around 10 is probably more realistic.
