Chuck Hayes is in China on a promotional tour. Chinese reporters told him that Steve Francis did horribly in the Chinese league. His reply: "I know he's addicted to drugs."

His addictions were widely discussed on this board when he was still playing for the Rockets. There was much denial and disbelief, but the signs were obvious.

What are we talking about here? That whole team of Francis, Maurice Taylor, Kelvin Cato, Moochie Norris - all of those guys - were definitely smoking the mary jane - and it was disappointing because it was apparent in their often minimal effort and their lack of improvement - but I never heard Stevie was on anything but weed. Are we talking hard stuff here?
Stevie kept shedding tears all over his face during the first 2 days in Beijing. Yawned a lot during games. I personally think he could be on hard stuff like heroine.

After the report came out, Hayes has denied ever saying Francis was on drugs. Not that Francis is or is not, I just don't think Chuck Hayes is the type of guy to say such things publicly. Chuck Hayes is NOT the black David Kahn after all.
yeah, i can't see chuck hayes talking about something like this, especially if he's the one "breaking" the news.
don't judge a book by it's cover (chuck hayes), if this is accurate or just rumors, it's still obvious that our Franchise was dealt to Orlando for a good reason and our Owner new about his drug addiction.
