Give me a break, that is just the way his shirt is hanging because he has his hands in his pockets. I don't doubt that he has put on weight but nothing that couldn't be lost with a month or two of training.

It's not like he has a huge pair of bologna t*** like Prince Fielder.

Even Oden got a, what, 8 mil qualifying offer? Let's offer up a contract and a prayer!

WOW, Just F'nWOW! Was that Biedrins that Yao dunked on at the 6:10 mark? Ball hit him square in the face. Forget Biedrins - we need Yao.

Anyway, this is one of the best highlight videos I've seen, ever. Best part is, he made just about every center in the league his b*tch.

He's obviously taken too serious a liking to American food. Hope he does a lot of swimming before attempting basketball, or even running, again.

Certainly was...I love watching this over and over again, you see how he grew, how he started dunking on people, started smacking shots out of the arena, staring down after dunking on people.

From what he was, watching him grow over the years...I really don't want it to end like this.

The comeback video shows why you have to sign him and give him one more chance. There is no other player with his game changing talent that wants to come to Houston.

He is now the definition of low risk high reward.

The theory is that Vibrams make you use more of the stabilizing foot muscles, strengthen them, and make your more resistant to injury. I have friends that have switched over to running in them, and they swear by them. I would hope they work, as ugly as they are.

I have heard that theory too and I have friends that run with them but I have my doubts. I agree that modern shoes stunt our foot development, for me I do most of my leg workouts on barefoot on Judo mats and have good arches. At the same time we didn't evolve to run on hard concrete and asphalt surfaces.

In Yao's case he already has bad arches so the lack of arch support probably isn't conducive now to healing and strengthening.

well the low risk depends on how big of a contract he gets. If another team is willing to offer him more do we match? or would yao turn down more money to stay in houston?

Doesn't matter if it is a one year deal, no other star wants to come here, pay him a year loaded with incentives....and see.
