I feel that the Rockets haven't initiated him into the offense. They are still stuck w/ that ISO crap and not running that 5 man offense. I know Ming is just a rookie, but they need to groom him into that 5 man offense and pass the damn ball to him!! It really sucks to see him put into positions where he can't do ****!!!

I agree. He's a friggin number one pick. What can someone do to get noticed by just sitting the bench and then just standing on the court for 10 minutes a game? Even If you're only gonna play him 10 minutes, at least give him the ball a couple times. Francis and Mobley are just getting on my nerves.

    PASS THE BALL!

They are running Ming like if he was Collier!! He's getting put in during GARBAGE TIME!! It's so damn pathetic. He should play an integral part at the 5 and stop the penetration of the opposition!

Right now, garbage time would be good for Yao. He can work against other scrubs and work on his game when the game is already out of hand. Takes the pressure off him. I think Yao will progress more playing garbage time than he will practicing.

Yao is not ready for the NBA at all. Everytime they give him the ball, some no name comes in a strips it from him. He can't defend anyone, and guards are even taking it right at him and scoring. Right now Ming can't do anything, so stop whinning he is just not ready yet. Ming is a big project, and we are going to have to give him time and have faith that he can play in this league.

Yeah, whenever Yao is in the game, the other team just ruthlessly pick and rolls on him nonstop. He sometimes would switch, leaving moochie to guard James. How does Cato defend this play? Yao really needs to learn how to defend the pnr so the oppenent doesnt repeatedly shove it down his throat.

Seems Yao are clearly not used to the rule of NBA. He gets a lot of fouls when he tries to defend someone, which make him look like timid. But at present he should be an offensive factor. Everytime, when you see he's wideopen but the guids just refuse to pass him the balls. How similiar situation Yao is in Rockets and Chinese national teams?

Come one now, that's just a stupid thing to say.

The kid has never played American ball until a few weeks ago. Everyone knew he was going to need to learn some basics this year. I'm not surprised by what's going on with Yao, but he is a great talent and will be fine. He is most certainly not a Shawn Bradley, that's just ignorant. Give the kid some time (2 or 3 years).
