With both of the leagues having lockouts, let's play worst-case scenario. Which is worse:

Missing half of the NFL season vs missing the entire NBA season.

I've heard this on the Dan Patrick radio show on the way to work yesterday, and a lot of people would prefer to miss the entire NBA season than to miss even half of the NFL, which is very understandable. NFL is easily the #1 sport in America.

Personally, I would choose missing the entire NBA season. You miss discussing and following Rockets news, new up and coming players like Rose, Westbrook, Wall..., free agency...

To me, missing any of the NBA season is worse than missing all of the NFL season.

Considering the NFL has only 16 games, missing half of that would be way worse.

Missing all of the NBA season for me is worst. There's going to be a lot of talented player MIA, where in the NFL there not a whole lot of player you would consider big stars, so it wouldn't bother me as much. I admit though, I'm more of a basketball fan then I am a football fan so I'm more attached to the NBA player.

I really don't give two ****s about football. Missing the entire NBA season would be devastating to me :(.

They call you dr of dunk, I would have been disappointed if you had voted NFL.

For me, missing one preseason would be more devasting. I could watch the Lions play the panthers and I can't do that with the NBA. I used to watch other teams around the NBA back in the mid 90s but now, watching any other team outside the Rockets is pretty much torture.
I will really miss the rockets though.

Same. I often go entire seasons without watching an NFL game. I wouldn't miss it at all.

Clearly for me missing an entire NBA season is worse. I'm big into the NFL but the NBA is a lot more important to me.

The NFL is king. I would miss it more than the NBA. The NBA has the crappiest refs out of all the major sports, imo..

But I would prefer a shortened NFL season over the NBA being cancelled all season.

I vote a full season of basketball taken away would be worse.

Would need to have the poll on an NFL board to see a collective opinion, to balance out the pro-basketball Clutchfans results.

Its still interesting to ask the basketball fans themselves if they'd ditch basketball for half of NFL, since basketball fans aren't considered being as passionate to their sport as fans to other sports. I'd think NFL fans would vote 80% Bye Bye, B-Ball just to save even 4 NFL games.

The NBA season being lost would suck more for me.

Being from a school with a major NCAAF program still gives me something of an exciting football season to watch (I'm sure many of you UT fans would agree), but college hoops, even if the Sooners had a decent bball squad (which they do NOT), just totally pales in comparison to the NBA.

Yeah, I've been to a football game. It's pretty damn boring in person.
Basketball games are the best whether in person or on TV.

I'm more of a football fan anyways, but I feel like 8 game NFL season is worse than a 41 game NBA season.
