A New Way of Voting

    After this years 'options', I think we should seriously consider have a 'None of the Above' option on the ballot. If the plurality selects 'NA', then the parties should have to field new candidates and have a new election.

    The present primary process does not work. These cannot be our best and brightest who want to serve in office. It's depressing, and in some cases, embarassing.

    I see your point. But what if none of the above wins in November? How long would the parties have to field new candidates? How long would campaigning last? Keep in mind that the election is in November and candidates take office in January.

    How about no candidates on the ballot and the write-in nominee with the most votes wins?

    How about we switch to multi-party systems like in Europe? Probably involve rewriting the Constitution, but no big deal, right? :D

    Why not have elections earlier? Does the Consitution mandate November/January?

    We are multi-party. What kind of change are you referring to?
