What I want to know is, if the VNS is improperly analyzing exit polls, where exactly is Drudge getting his data? I don't doubt the election shakes down the way he's saying, give or take one or two on either side, but how is it that he's getting reliable data and no one else is? Seems like the best he might be getting is the faulty stuff from VNS. Am I missing something?

I think it's faulty. At least I'm hoping. Check out www.politicalwire.com

The Washington Post story says VNS was abandoning the exit polls regarding voter attitudes.... not the polls regarding winners/losers. From the Post story, it appears those are two different surveys (or two different parts of the same surveys), and it appears they can still tell us the "How" just not the "Why"... at least according to that Post story.

NYTimes is saying the Republicans took the Senate. I didn't look at the numbers, so I'm taking their word on it.

Curses, curses, curses. I wish I'd gotten my act together and voted absentee even if it likely wouldn't have changed squat. This just ruins my day (it's still daytime where I'm at).

There's a tear in my eye as I check the latest news from CNN. Kind of like the Native American in the commercial after seeing a trashed out landscape:(

I wonder if come Jan., the Republicans are going to try and cut school lunch programs for poor kids again? Remember back in 81, when Reagan tried to get Catsup and pickles classified as vegetables to cut spending? Who knows what hilarious attempt to screw the kids we will see next. ;)

Oh well, I think I'll be ok the next 2 years, unless the Rupubs feel it is important to make cuts to financial aid for college students like yours truly.

Ok, all kidding aside, what do you guys think? Seriously, lets hear some predictions. They have total control now, will that make things better or worse? If the current trend continues, and the economy doesn't improve, who's going to get the blame? I have a feeling things aren't going to get better, especially if a war happens in Iraq. Can't deny the trend of recessions following wars, then again, a major trend was broken on tuesday.

Here are my concerns for the next two years. Social Security, will more money be taken from it to fund a war in Iraq among other things? War in Iraq, are we gonna make a change or make more terrorists? The environment: Did anybody else feel the earth shudder in fear when the results came in? Ok, ok, that was cheap shot. But I think i'm allowed to vent since my vote=**** in Texas.

Remember the good ole' days when Ann Richards was governor, Bob Lanier was Mayor, oh, and that Clinton guy was president? I'm telling all of you right now, it's no coincidence that the Rockets won their championships when we had the Democratic Trifecta going on. If I wasn't so tired, I'd prove it too:p Oops, there I go again, my bad.

Well, I can't wait til' 2004, maybe some good things will happen,if there isn't a proletariat revolution by then. Ok, that was the last one, I swear. All righty then, I'm going to bed.
