WinMX not working?

    Does WinmX still work? For some reason, I have been stuck connecting for about a week now. Anyone else having this problem?

    WinMX sucks. Get Grokster and Kazaa. They are the 2 best. The spyware sucks though.

    I uninstalled winmx a while ago so I have no clue.

    I just downloaded something 2 nights ago so it's working fine. You have to upgrade to at least the 3.3 version. If you're not upgraded to the latest one it'll load up, but it won't connect. That's what happened to me, it kept trying to connect because the current version at the time was outdated.

    Hmmm... It might be an Isp thing, my friends isn't connecting either, but a friend from a different company has no problem. I am using 3.31

    The problem I've had with WinMX is that I add files to my transfer list...and they never download. They will for a little bit, get halfway through and fizzle.

    The last few days it's been working MUCH better for me.

    So the short answer to your question is yes...it's working.

    Kazaalite and download adaware from lavasoft and you'll have no problems with spyware. Just remember to change your username with Kazaalite...
