i think wins produced is the stat that gets accused of overvaluing rebounders. and that would jibe with kevin love and kris humphries high rankings.
So... what would have happened had Kevin Love miss the season? Some sort of logical paradox that destroys the universe (or at least the state of Minnestoa)?
WoW This. I was like, Shazam... Finally, the GARM has what it has been missing ever so much for all these years. A World of Warcfraft thread... But, no... Again, it's just a basketball thread.
Cool for Chuck, but I don't buy the Wins Produced metric at all, a little quick research turns up that almost nobody outside of its creator gives it much credit. Would be interesting to see this as a Win Shares analysis, though.
Why would you say that it is meaningless? The way I see it.... is that K. Love's supporting cast was detrimental to the overall team success, which lowered the winning percentage.
Considering he is worth every thing to the mavs for the last ten years I would argue he is still being grossly underpaid...by these metrics atleast
Where the hell did this Humphris Kardashian hype come from. I didn't pay any attention to the Nets last season, did Humpback Kris suddenly turn into a superstar or something? The last time I remember Kris playing was a deep bench warmer for the Raptors.
Did you not watch our games against the Nets. He was very active. Worked hard on the boards, didn't make big mistakes, played within what little system they developed. I don't think he's a better player than Chuck but I thought he was a big part of what the Nets were doing.... much like Chuck was with the Rockets last season.
Hayes is good for this team, let me refrase. He is a legit starting Poward Forward now. So hes probably worth some. I dont know.... The guy is just likeable and nice person. Probably worth more.... Is he MidLevel Now????
But how is that possible? If Love was out for the season, how could his team have had -7 wins? It doesn't hold up to logic.
