This guy is a douche, and doesn't represent the majority of Dallas fans. I listen to ESPN Dallas every day, and have never heard them (or the call in fans) talk negative about Houston. If anything ESPN Dallas loves Yao Ming. Randy Galloway from ESPN, use to play that Yao Ming song every time the Rockets were in town. I was born and raised in Houston, and due to work had to relocate to Dallas 10 years ago. Luckily I still get to watch the Rockets on NBA league pass. R
THIS is exactly what I tell my friends, i heard this **** when i went to school in north texas.. they always call Houston a dirty city but most of them have never been here. I never had anything against dallas ppl until i met them
Oh well it will nice to see the Mavs lose next season once again. I don't believe they will repeat and I can't wait for them to have the bulls eye on their backs.
I just moved to Dallas six months ago and I can promise you like 90% of all Mavs fans are like this. I felt dirty inside knowing that my fellow Houstonians were rooting for Dallas to win it all. Everyone I met that was going for Dallas had the same reason; Miami has the biggest douche. I always responded by saying Miami might have one douche, but Dallas has 2.4 million douche bags.
I will say this though....Dallas Espn radio is really great. They are pretty open minded when it comes to their team. They never hate on Houston, but too bad the sports radio doesn't represent the views of the casual Mavs fan.
I'm pretty sure this is some redneck ******* who took time off from screwing his cousin to celebrate the mavs "padding their trophy case" I was happy for dirk, jason kidd, and tyson chandler. I do not like Jason Terry, but he played his ass off. I really hope for the sake of that city that dallas fans arent all like this... guy LMB
I’m really diggin everyone’s responses on there. The douche bag is trying to play it off like it was his intention to draw a bunch of disgruntled Houston fans, yet he uses a proxy server to post his diarrhea of the mouth article. What’s really a shame is that a lot of us were rooting for the Mavs, albeit because no one really wanted the Heat to win but effin A man. It’s all good though, it just goes to show the classiness of people from the DFW. Is it me or do people talk a little bit slow up there? I mean honestly are they misinformed or just plain r****ded? (it’s probably just because that’s where all the tweak made along I45 ends up going to) Lack of zoning laws? Last time I checked, real Texans don’t like to be told what they can and can not build.
Just another Dallasite. I have one professor that takes a shot at Houston anytime he gets. He once tried to compare moving to Detroit as moving to Houston and someone from the class said Houston is nothing like Detroit. I raised my hand and asked why he hated Houston so much..... ....his ex-wife is from there. I guess that's forgivable.

The article was tl;dr for me... but why did he bring in Houston? I think the whole WORLD was rooting against the Heat and didn't care much about Dallas. Heck it would be the same story if the finals was Heat vs Grizz... or Blazers or Clipper or Wolves. Lucky for him, I doubt the Dallas would win again next year (or whenever after the lockout) if they meet Miami again. It sucks. But hopefully another western team shows up next season to beat Miami.
I don't understand the rip on the Astros... Last season was the first time the Rangers did ANYTHING... Yea Houston sucked the last few seasons but before that we were always better than them... Well atleast after the Allstar break every year ha.
