Why aren't we targeting Danny Manning as an assistant coach

    Here is a guy who turned a 3 into the most efficient 4 in the NCAA. As we are looking for the most talented assistants in the league, why aren't we going after this guy? We have a couple of guys that could definitely use the help.

    He probably doesn't want to coach in the NBA. Much rather develop kids rather than deal with professionals. Not every coach’s dream is to coach in the NBA.

    That's too bad because from everything I have heard, he's one of the best player development guys out there.

    Chris Finch is the only assistant coach we currently have on the bench. There's room for another assistant and a lead assistant.

    Plus Finch was hired as a lead assistant, not a player development coach.
