I just saw the pilot on FX. That must mave been the funniest/craziest **** I've seen on TV in a long time. I searched and couldn't find a thread about it. Move if there's a thread.
Might have to catch it, I watched the original Australian version of it and loved it but had heard the US version was ordinary but will have to give it a go. Just reading some other forum threads on it I think a lot of Americans didn't quite pick up the whole idea of the show. They seem to be missing the whole fact that only one person in the show and the viewers actually see him as a guy in a dog suit. We missed out on another series of it here so it could go and be Americanized, might of been better off keeping it at home!
He's a pale comparison to me and will be destroyed soon enough. I don't like to be mocked by any media venue. The proverbial "s***" hitting the fan? You have no idea how real it gets with animals.
Back in the day, you'd hardly ever see major film stars get involved in TV shows. Now, a lot of times TV shows are more quality than movies. It looks like such a great concept. A little bit of Calvin and Hobbes, little bit Harvey.
not only did I love it, but Wilford epitomizes anyone that's ever had a small dog with little man syndrome, and still has its nuts.
I liked it. A little different than I expected, but promising. However, I saw Louie afterward (for the first time), and that was the stupidest thing ever shown on TV. They way he talked about his kids pissed me off, and his screaming sister was ridiculous, and the predictable ending to her problem appeals to only the dumbest 8 year kids. WTF?
This show was pretty great. The part where he is digging holes in the yard was very funny. "Promise!!!?"
I had seen some clips of the Australian version with the same guy as the dog, and was looking forward to it. Liked the pilot ep.
It was pretty funny, but didn't blow my mind or anything. Liked the ending. The other three are what...
I thought it was really solid, going to stick with it for the full run. Semi related, Started watch the 1st season of Louis over the weekend, I've really enjoyed it thus far.
